IMS Ghaziabad, was founded in 1990 by a group of visionaries and intellectuals to impart quality education in a stimulating and innovative environment where students are empowered with knowledge and professional skills while upholding the values of integrity, tolerance and mutual respect. Since its inception the group has promoted education in the areas of Management Sciences, Tourism, Information Technology, Bio-Science, Engineering Sciences and Journalism through its three educational campuses equipped with state of art infrastructure. IMS has attained a unique and a highly respectable place amongst the best professional education institutions in India.
IMS Ghaziabad has earned a reputation for academic excellence in providing practical and quality academic programmes in the field of Management Sciences, Tourism, Information Technology, Bio-Sciences and Journalism. IMS Ghaziabad offers full-time and part-time programmes, which are industry based, value-driven and rigorous. The professionally oriented programmes offered by IMS are designed to train the students to become well versed and accelerate in their respective fields. The two-year full time Post- Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme has been accredited the MBA -Equivalent Status by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and AICTE. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has also granted accreditation to the PGDM programme of our institute. Currently IMS Ghaziabad offers PGDM, PGDM(Banking & Finance), PGDM-MM (Marketing Management), PGDM-TM (Tourism Management) and M.C.A courses.
IMS Ghaziabad has been ranked 7th in Northern India by CSR-GHRDC (Nov. 2012). IMS has been ranked amongst TOP 10 B-Schools of Delhi NCR by the latest Mail Today (The India Today Group) and Hindustan Times B-Schools surveys. IMS Ghaziabad has been ranked A1 by AIMA (All India Management Association) as per the latest survey published in INDIAN MANAGEMENT Journal May 2012.

Placement highlights
IMS Ghaziabad Placement Report-2012
IMS Ghaziabad had a remarkable placement year 2012 with 315 plus offers from 180 companies. Apart from Banking & Financing Services (BFSI), FMCG and Management Consulting Groups have also been major recruiters this year. Many students got offers for consulting profiles from various companies including names like Deloitte, Laurent and Benon, Capital IQ, Ernst & Young etc. Huge FMCG Companies like Nestle, ITC andHeinz have recruited students this year. Times and Dainik Jagran have recruited for print media Students also got international offers for Middle East and South African and Egyptian countries.
Key Pointers:-

o In all for the purpose of the placements, 166 Pre Placement Talks were received,
out of which 143 companies conducted the process.
o Few students have been offered International Placements in the Middle East,
Egypt and the South African region.
o The highest international CTC offered has been Rs. 22 lacs per annum. and
the highest domestic was Rs. 8.5 lacs per annum.
o The average CTC on campus is Rs. 5.3 Lacs PA.
o Average of 1.2 offers per students.
o AXIS Bank, Bank of India, Vijay Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Federal Bank, South
Indian Bank, IndusInd Bank, Deloitte Consulting, Citi Bank, ITC Limited, Ernst
& Young, Bajaj Allianz, Laurent and Benon, International Oncology Services,
UFlex Limited and American Express Bank have been the some of the major recruiters.
