At the same time, the weightage of the issues of social concern section will get reduced.

The IRMA entrance examination will be held on Sunday, November 11. The latest article on MBAUniverse.com analysed the entrance tests during the past five years. Though it remained uniform over the years, the institute has come up with some alterations this year. The number of questions for the four sections was constant till the previous year, but it has been reshuffled this year onwards.

Let us have a look at the sections and the number of questions compared with past years.

Besides quantitative ability, all other sections will see a reshuffle in the number of questions and total marks. While weightage of English comprehension and analytical reasoning will be increased, that of issues of social concern will see a decline.

English comprehension and analytical reasoning sections will have 10 more questions compared with previous years. However, the issues of social concern section will have 20 questions less in the new pattern.

A spokesperson from IRMA said, “The changes in the pattern have been decided by the examination committee. Every year, IRMA incorporates some innovations in the pattern of the paper. The reshuffling of the number of questions and marks is a part of that.”

The total number of questions is 200 and each of them carries one mark. The duration of the exam is two hours.
