PGDM admission Process at Shri Dharmasthala Mnjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) Mysore, is open till February 28. The candidates who have appeared or are appearing in one of the national level MBA entrance exams namely CAT/XAT/CMAT or GMAT can apply for admission at SDMIMD.

According to Dr N R Parasuraman, Director SDMIMD “The admission will be based on scores in the competitive exam, grades obtained consistently from 10th standard up to graduation, work experience, extra- curricular activities if any and above all the score in the interview process.”   

An applicant who has good academic record, achievement in extra-curricular activities and good communication skill stands good chance for admission in PGDM 2017-19 at SDMIMD, Mysore.

Programme offered
The two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management is the flagship programme of SDMIMD, Mysore. It is designed to prepare students for the modern day industry which is undergoing a radical change in this globalized world. The program is approved by AICTE.

Students can opt to specialise in the areas of Marketing, Systems, Finance, Operations or Human Resource Management. Students have the opportunity to pursue dual specialisation. Students can also decide to be a generalist rather than specialising in any specific area and can opt for courses from various management streams to make up the required minimum of 34 credits.

Application process: No application fee
SDMIMD has brought key change in the admission process by simplifying the admission form. Besides SDMIMD has kept the option open to interview the candidates on Skype while the personal interviews at several locations are conducted.

The application process for full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at SDMIMD for the batch 2017-19 is open now. Even if you have not applied for any entrance exam, still you can apply through SDMIMD Online Application form and send the registration details later by email to [email protected] .

Candidates can apply online or offline without paying any application fee. You can send the filled Application Form along with the photocopy of CAT / XAT / GMAT / CMAT admit card, coaching centre receipt (if issued). Admission: Weightage components
SDMIMD awards balanced weightage to the written exam scores in the admission process. Broad weightage areas are-

Exam scores: 30% weight
Academic record: 30% weight
Personal Interview: 30% weight
Work experience/Extra Curricular: 10%

Fee & Scholarships
SDMIMD Mysore is less expensive than other B-schools. 2 years fee including hostel stay at SDMIMD is Rs. 11 lakhs.

SDMIMD also has scholarship scheme by which students with CAT/XAT scores of 85 percentile or more (or valid GMAT score of 680 and more) are eligible for Rs.100000 each on getting admitted to SDMIMD
