International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi, the Top Ranked private B-school of the country, raises the bar for admissions by increasing the cut off by three percentile across all PGDM Programs and has also introduced sectional cut off for deciding the shortlisted candidates.
The minimum criteria for PGDM has been increased from last year’s 87 CAT Percentile to 90 CAT Percentile; for PGDM(HRM) has been increased from last year’s 82 CAT Percentile to 85 CAT Percentile and for PGDM(B&FS) has been increased from last year’s 81 CAT Percentile to 83 CAT Percentile.
The CAT 2016 sectional cut offs in all the programmes are as follows:

Director General, IMI, New Delhi, Dr Debashis Chatterjee said, “The institute differentiates itself by virtue of rigour and relevance it brings to its admission process. The admission process has been streamlined further this year to admit only the very best and on merit alone.”
All PGDMs are two-years program each and are designed to prepare students for careers across functional areas of management. Introduced in 1993, the course has been attracting candidates from diverse educational streams ranging from engineering, medicine, architecture, social sciences, economics and commerce.
International Management Institute (IMI) - New Delhi was established in 1981 in collaboration with IMI Geneva (now IMD, Lausanne). The institute has been ranked 1st in private B-schools in the country and 7th overall among management institutes in India by the Indian Ranking 2016, NIRF, MHRD. IMI- New Delhi has also secured a commendable overall rank of 6th in the latest ranking released by the NHRD (National Human Resources Development).
