11th Annual Convocation of Mody University, Rajasthan was celebrated on January 24, 2017 in the gracious presence of Dr Justice B S Chauhan, Chairman National Law Commission of India as Chief Guest; Prof Suresh Advani, President and distinguished guests, faculty and aspiring students including the MBA students of College of Business Management, Economics and Commerce of Mody University.
Prof Advani declared the Convocation open and presented the Annual Report of the University. Delivering the Convocation Address, Dr Justice Chauhan spoke about the women empowerment through higher education, their importance and role in the society. He lauded the efforts of the founder of Mody University-Dr Rajendra Prasad Mody and appreciated his vision on women education.
In the Convocation ceremony 393 graduates, 154 post graduates from all streams and 8 PhD scholars were awarded their degrees. On the occasion, distinguished alumni and faculty of the university were also hounoured and awarded.
