CMAT 2017 Results are out! AICTE has announced the All India Merit List of candidates who took Common Management Admission Test CMAT-2017, held on 28th and 29th Jan 2017. In total, 60,000 candidates took the exam.
The candidates must download the Score Card using their login details from www.aicte-cmat.in from 9th February till 8th March, 2017. AICTE has clarified that Separate Score Cards will not be sent by email or by post to the candidates

CMAT 2017 All India Merit List
Only two candidates -- SARAS SUHANE and LAGNAJIT DAS -- have scored 100 Percentile. Six candidates have scored 99.99. These CMAT Toppers will get admission to MBA colleges accepting CMAT Scores.

A national merit ranking has been arrived based on the Total Score. In case scores are same for more than one candidate, the ranking has been done on sectional score considered in the order of: Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation; Logical Reasoning; Language Comprehension; General Awareness. In case more than one candidate secures same ranking as per the above criteria, the same Rank has been assigned to all of them but will be displayed by sorting their names alphabetically.

How CMAT 2017 Percentile & Score has calculated
Percentile has been calculated using the formula: Percentile P = ( (N- Rank of the candidate)/ N) x 100 (Where P is percentile and N is total number of candidates appeared for exam).  The Scores obtained have been calculated by assigning: o +4 marks for the correct answer o -1 mark for incorrect answer o 0 mark for no answer.

How to use CMAT 2017 Score
CMAT-2017 score is valid for the admissions of academic year 2017-18. MBAUniverse.com advices candidates to take following steps to use their CMAT Scores:

1. DOWNLOAD SCORE CARD IMMEDIATELY: The candidates must download the electronically generated score card from http://www.aicte-cmat.in from 09th Feb – 8th Mar 2017. AICTE will not send Separate Score Cards by email or by post to the candidates.

2. USE CMAT SCORES TO APPLY TO TOP MBA COLLEGES: Next step is to use CMAT Scores to apply to MBA Colleges accepting CMAT 2017. See list of colleges accepting CMAT scores below. It’s important to note that Admission authorities and institutions, however, are free to take their own decision at the time of admission as to what weightage they wish to give to any particular section.

3. DON’T SUBMIT INCORRECT SCORE or PERCENTILE: AICTE has warned that any Instances of incorrect information provided by the candidates, if detected at any stage, would make the candidate liable for disqualification.

4. CONTACT B-SCHOOLS FOR NEXT STEPS: After receiving your application with CMAT percentile, B-schools will conduct Personal Assessment Round, which includes Group Discussions and Personal Interview. So keep in touch with Admissions Offices.

CMAT result will offer admission opportunity in 400 MBA colleges in India,  and about the same number of colleges in the Maharashtra State only.

Although a few of the top B-schools like GIM Goa, Great Lakes and others have closed their admission process, the last date to apply for admission to BIMTECH, IFMR, K J Somaiya who accept CMAT scores is open for next few days.
