CMAT 2017 Result trends show high scoring pattern as compared to last year and would offer more admission opportunity to top MBA colleges
Highest score in CMAT 2017 has gone up to 350 marks from 300 marks in CMAT 2016 and there are 2 candidates with 100 percentile this year as against 1 last year

CMAT 2017 Result declared on February 8, has awarded higher marks as compared to last year and has increased the hope of admission to MBA programmes in different MBA colleges. However, due to an easy CMAT 2017 higher raw marks have been required to achieve the last year CMAT percentile level.

There are 2 candidates in CMAT 2017 who have scored 100 percentile. However there is gap of 21 marks between the 2 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in CMAT result 2017.

CMAT 2017 result declared by AICTE for all the 59181 test takers has been the fastest process for National Level Tests. AICTE conducted CMAT 2017 as a yearly exam in a single day and in single session on January 28, 2017 in 62 cities across the country and in 11 days the result has also been declared.

Displaying the National Merit List for 59181 CMAT 2017 test takers including 252 candidates with negative marks AICTE has confirmed that all the test takers have been ranked and no one has been disqualified. The number of test takers with negative marks last year was 623.

CMAT 2017 scores show an increase in number of high and highest scorers who have been awarded 100 and 95 and above percentile. This trend of increase in the highest and average scores has brightened the chances of admission in good B-schools for MBA aspirants. The basic reason behind this idea is the high raw score cut off in various MBA colleges irrespective of percentile scores.

Top B-schools to consider CMAT score with other parameters for MBA admission
Since there are many good MBA colleges who accept CMAT raw scores and in accordance with their admission policy, they waive the requirement of high CMAT percentile for admission to 2017 -19 batch, if the candidates have good academics, work experience, are achievers in extra-curricular activities among other parameters. The admission process in many top B-schools like Great Lakes, IFMR, BIMTECH, K J Somaiya are open and if not applied earlier, the admission opportunity can be explored without any further delay.

Highest score in CMAT 2017 has gone up to 350 marks from 300 marks in CMAT 2016 and there are 2 candidates with 100 percentile this year as against 1 last year.

Saras Suhane has scored 350 marks out of 400 and has got 100 percentile.  The 2nd candidate is Lagnajit Das who has scored 329 marks has also been awarded 100 percentile. Last year there was only 1 candidate Jivtesh Singh who had scored 100 percentile at a score of 300 marks.

AICTE-CMAT 2017 test result has displayed All India merit list for 59181 candidates who have scored between the highest marks 350 (100 percentile) to the lowest (-) 34 (zero percentile) out of 400 for admission session 2017-18. Last year there were 55084 candidates.

AICTE-CMAT 2017 contains raw marks along with the arrived percentile score. The percentile is arrived at on the basis of highest marks scored but the sectional scores have also been given due importance in case more candidates have scored same percentile.

Although a few of the top B-schools like GIM Goa, Great Lakes and others have closed their admission process, the last date to apply for admission to BIMTECH, IFMR, K J Somaiya who accept CMAT scores is open for next few days.
