Unique Initiatives at KSOM
There are many unique initiatives undertaken at KSOM to enhance the skills of its students.

Konclaves - KSOM organizes three national level conclaves (HR, Marketing and Finance) and a management convention annually. These serve as great platform for knowledge sharing and showcase co- creation between academia and industry. Some of the top industry and academic minds come together in these conclaves. The objective of such events is to leverage on knowledge of speakers to appraise students of the current trends, challenges and strategies in the corporate world. It also helps in networking and building an on-going relationship with corporate guests thereby maintaining a close association with industry and academia.

Ko-Educate - KIIT School of Management continuously strives towards bridging the gap between academia and industry and making students more corporate ready. In its endeavor to do so, it has created many platforms like corporate seminar lectures, conclaves and student corporate mentorship, to ensure continuous interaction amongst faculties, students and industry stalwarts. To add on to the repertoire of initiatives that have already been taken in this direction, in 2016, KSOM has introduced its unique initiative called "KOEDUCATE" where-in elective sessions across all specializations will be co-facilitated by internal faculties and corporate experts from the industry. This special initiative will enrich course content and delivery by cashing-in on the knowledge of both the faculty and corporate expert and will enhance focus on the practical application of concepts studied in the courses.

Konfidant-This is another unique initiative by KSOM where every KSOM student is attached to a corporate mentor. The objective is to provide KSOM students with life skills, help them achieve professional & personal goals, make them industry-ready and support them to realize their full potential.

Right B-school for Placement in India
Placements - KSOM has an impeccable record of achieving good placements every year. All eligible students with acceptable CGPA secure a placement. Average placement over the last couple of years has been 100%. Some students have opted out of placement to pursue their own venture or join the family business, while a few others secure out-of-campus placement.

Internships - Students at the school take up two-month Summer Internship Program (SIP) after their second semester. The internship comprises 8 credits, forming a significant part of students' overall academic credits.
