MBA 2017-19 at UPES University: Last admission chance through UPESMET-III; Apply by May 12

UPES University has offered one more MBA admission opportunity for the 2017-19 batch through its online entrance exam UPESMET-III or with your  CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT scores. The last date to apply for online UPESMET-III is May 12, and the online computer based exam will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Online application form is available at UPES website.

UPESMET-III will provide an opportunity to grab admission across the 10 domain focused UPES MBA programs. It could prove the last MBA admission chance to College of Management & Economics Studies (CoMES), University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun. UPES proposes to conduct UPESMET-III as the most convenient online MBA entrance exam for the candidates.

Eligibility & Key features of UPESMET-III

• UPESMET-III is proposed to be the most convenient exam. You do not need to run from pillar to post.
• Candidates with minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and in graduation can seek admission to a UPES – MBA programs by taking the UPES Management Entrance Test-III.
• UPESMET will be a completely online test. It is proctored centrally and gives you the advantage of taking the test from any convenient location. All you need is a computer with a stable internet connection.
• You need a laptop /desktop which has a webcam and an internet connection.
• Candidates can appear for the test from their home, office or internet café.
• There is No center being allotted for the online test and no admit card is issued.
• Test Link and other important information will be shared with the student by 13^th May 2017.

Candidates seeking admission opportunity in MBA 2017-19 batch at UPES University should register and apply online latest by May 12, 2017 to appear in the entrance exam UPESMET-III on May 14. The application fee is Rs.1850/-.

MBA admission opportunity through CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT

MBA aspirants who have the minimum score of 75 percentile in MAT/CMAT; 70 percentile in CAT/XAT or score of 140 in NMAT can apply direct for GD-PI round and can skip UPESMET-III. However if you want to improve your score, it is advisable to appear in UPESMET-III on May 14.

UPESMET-III: Unique online test

The online UPESMET-III for admission to the MBA programmes 2017-19 in UPES University will be organized in slots. The exam will offer admission opportunity to 10 specialized MBA programs in the high growth sectors of  Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Aviation, Port & Shipping, Business Analytics, International Business and Entrepreneurship.

Aspirants can appear in UPESMET-III from any location - home, office or internet café, all you need is a laptop/desktop with a webcam and an internet connection. There would be 3 exam slots from 10 A.M. to 12.30PM; 1 PM to 3.30 P.M.; 4PM to 6.30 P.M. available during the testing day.

The candidates will not be given an option to choose the exam slot. UPES will be sharing the designated time slot with each student who had filled the online form and paid the fees through email with a username and password and detailed instructions to take the test at the designated time slot.

UPESMET-III: Nature and pattern of exam 

UPESMET-III test paper comprises 140 questions with 35 questions each divided in four sections listed below. The test will have to be attempted in 150 minutes.  There is no negative marking in the test.

Convenient Testing

Candidates will appear for the online test by logging in with their credentials from their computer connected with a webcam and an internet connection. Candidates have the convenience to appear for the test from their home, office or internet café.

The candidates will be sent their login credentials at least 24 hours before the exam on the registered email ID of the applicants
