According to information shared by IIM-K with MBAUniverse.com, "177 members of the class of 2008 will be awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Two students would be awarded the Institute's gold medal for academic performance and all-round performance respectively."

His groundbreaking article, "The End of Corporate Imperialism," won the 1998 McKinsey Prize as the year's best Harvard Business Review article. He has also earned the first spot on the Suntop Media's "Thinkers 50" list. He is on the board of TIE, The Indus Entrepreneurs encouraging budding entrepreneurs in the industry.
