CMAT 2018 Answer key by AICTE: Know all the details

CMAT answer keys 2018 by AICTE could be released on the pattern of CAT answer keys. CMAT 2018 was conducted on January 20, 2018 as online computer based test. Although AICTE does not release the CMAT answer keys due to the mandatory disclosure for CMAT exam and since CMAT has remained a computed based test like CAT, it has not been possible for AICTE to release the CMAT 2018 answer keys. However, as the CAT answer keys were released for the first time by IIMs this year, there are chances that CMAT answer keys for CMAT 2018 questions paper might be released by AICTE.

Candidates who appeared in CMAT 2018 exam on January 20, 2018 are consistently clicking on the websites to get access to CMAT answer keys for CMAT questions. Although, it is neither possible nor feasible by AICTE to release and publish the CMAT exam answer keys due to one of the key reasons that CMAT 2018 remains a computer based test, the CMAT test takers are hopeful that CMAT answer keys would be released along with CMAT 2018 result declaration by AICTE.

Despite the fact that number of sets and question delivery process in CMAT 2018 exam remains different from a paper based test due to which it may be difficult to get access to CMAT exam answer keys, AICTE may allow the access to CMAT answer keys 2018 with candidates’ login.

Difficult to determine order of questions
The important fact in CMAT exam is that it is difficult to determine the order of questions in the computerised format of CMAT 2018 pattern. No candidate can ascertain which was the 5^th, 9^th, or 34^th question.

The computerised CMAT question sets are not numbered as A, B, C, D, so even if you get only answers from some source you may not be able to understand which answer corresponds to which question unless the question itself is posted along with the answer. But since it could be determined with the candidates’ login to CMAT site, the access to CMAT answer keys for the particular set of questions could be available.  

How to get the CMAT answer keys?
Usually the students of good coaching centres like CL, IMS, T.I.M.E. take CMAT exam in good number. On the basis of their memory if they recall the CMAT questions they would be able the have the answers for them from the CMAT preparation experts to arrive at the CMAT percentile. Officially, AICTE has not announced the date of release of the CMAT answer keys.

CMAT answer keys: Know the scoring pattern
Each correct answer in CMAT 2018 will carry +4 marks and each wrong answer will impose a negative penalty of -1 mark. What you attempted on January 20 and if you remember a good part of it, you may arrive at your near raw scores and on its basis check what percentile you could get. Why AICTE feels shy of publishing CMAT answer keys?
AICTE prohibits one and all from publishing or copying the content of CMAT exam. Legal action can be initiated against those who violate the instructions.

Apart from this AICTE advises the students to refrain from any mal practices and says, “Instances of incorrect information and process violation detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification of the candidate from the selection process and he/she will not be allowed to appear for CMAT in future. If such instances go undetected during the current selection process but are detected in subsequent years, such disqualification will take place with retrospective effect. Any dispute concerning CMAT 2018 would be subject to Jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of New Delhi only.”

CMAT answer key 2018 contains correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. The verification of responses will enable the candidates to determine their probable scores in CMAT 2018 and will know the CMAT 2018 result before it is declared.
