IIM-B has also declared final admission list on May 1, 2008 for its PGP for the batch 2008-10.
According to the information on IIM-B website, "There are 300 candidates who have been made an admission offer to the PGP for the batch of 2008-10 at IIM-B for the 251 seats available in the General, SC, ST and PWD categories. The 49 extra offers covers for 137 of those candidates who have an offer from another IIM."
"For the PGP batch of 2008-10, 241 students of General category (including all OBS candidates who qualified in the general category); 53 of SC category; 24 of ST category and 9 of PWD category received offers at IIM-B" says IIM-B website.
The IIM-B website also stated that there are 25 candidates in the OBC category who have been made provisional admission offers subject to their providing documentary proof at the time of acceptance that they do not belong to the "creamy layer" of OBC as defined by the Government.
IIM-B also listed 80 candidates who have been waitlisted out of which 50 candidates are of General Category; 16 of SC category; 7 of ST category and 7 in PWD category.
