Pearl School of Business ties up with SRCC, NTU-UK to offer bachelors programme in management

Gurgaon based Pearl School of Business (PSB) has forged an academic collaboration with prestigious Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) Delhi to offer three year full-time BBA programme for under-graduates.

SRCC has also strategic partnership with Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK to offer this programme. The BBA programme is due to commence in mid-July, 2008. The course fees for the three-year programme is Rs 1.90 lakhs per year. 

As part of this initiative, Pearl School of Business BBA programme has received validation by the NTU, UK, which is one of the top Universities in UK with over 150 years of history. NTU will award the BBA degree to students of PSB which is a delegated centre and an affiliated business school of NTU. The programme is designed by Pearl School of Business faculty in collaboration with NTU's Nottingham Business School and Babson College, USA.  

As a part of the academic collaboration, SRCC will be an active academic collaborator in the development of BBA curriculum at PSB.  

Says PSB, "The integrated curriculum of the course uniquely blends the themes of entrepreneurship, innovation, internationalisation and social awareness in the course contents to develop entrepreneurial talent to become leaders of globally competitive and socially responsible business leaders."   

The BBA faculty consists of former faculty at IIM, Ahmedabad and Lucknow, IMDR Pune, Assumption University, Thailand etc. of PSB and visiting faculty from international institutes like Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, Nottingham Trent University, UK, Babson College, USA, ESCP-EAL, France etc. Faculty members from SRCC will also be nominated on the BBA Academic Advisory Committee to help PSB in conducting of the programme, informs PSB. 

According to PSB, students who have passed 12th standard or equivalent in any stream with minimum 60 % marks or equivalent grade are eligible for admission to PSB BBA Programme. 

Shri Ram College of Commerce, set up in 1926, is regarded as a leading institution for commerce, economics and business education at the undergraduate level in the country. Pearl School of Business was established in 2007 and has partnerships with leading international business schools.
