IMS Learning is holding 'May-trix' – a seminar on the CAT Section-Dissection on May 25, 2008 in Mumbai and New Delhi. According to IMS Learning, May-trix plans to focus on detailed analysis on English, Math & Data Interpretation sections with tips from experts.
In Mumbai, May-trix will be held in two sessions – May-trix 1 will hold the topic of 'CAT: Section Dissection'. This session will be focused on different sections of CAT include Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability. May-trix 2 will have the topic of 'CAT Persona' which will have discussion on the insights into Group Discussions and Personal Interviews rounds of the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) & other top B-school. In Delhi, there will be two sessions of May-trix where the first session will address introduction to CAT and the second session will be on Section Dissection.
Career Launcher is holding an event called 'Don't Fear CAT' for two days in Delhi on May 24 and 25, 2008. According to Career Launcher, this event will remove the fear of Quantitative and Verbal Ability areas. The event will have discussion on how to choose easier questions, how to apply the correct techniques to solve them easily and how to clear sectional cut-offs in Quant and Verbal Ability.
