LCube '08 will be inaugurated by Mr. Harsh Manglik, MD and Chairman of Accenture India who will deliver the keynote address on leadership. The program is being organized by the students of the Post Graduate in Software Enterprise Management Program of IIM Bangalore.
A number of events are planned including a 3 day workshop on Experiential Leadership by the renowned leadership consultant Mr Raghu Ananthanarayan, informs IIM B. A role play competition based on management decision making challenges will be held on May 30 which will test participants on the handling of tough management decisions. LCube '08 will also present a quiz on leadership which will be based on the lives of leaders and achievers in the fields of business, sports and world politics. This is being conducted in association with Karnataka Quizzing Association and will be hosted Prof Rajeev Gowda. This will be open to corporate participant teams.
The event will be concluded with a panel discussion on the DNA for the next generation of IT leaders, to be held on June 1. The panel for the discussion comprises of prominent leaders in the IT industry including Mr Som Mittal, the NASSCOM President, Mr. Kush Desai, MD SAP Labs India, Mr. Subhash Menon, Founder and Chairman Subex Systems, Mr. Sudip Banerjee, President Enterprise Solutions, Wipro Technologies, Mr. Vijay Anand, Vice President, Server Technologies, Oracle India and Prof. J Ramachandran, IIM Bangalore. Mr Som Mittal will also deliver a keynote on 'Indian IT Companies at crossroads - Looking for the next winning strategy' on this occasion.
