ABS organizes MBA FEST for aspirants

Aryans Business School (ABS) organized a MBA FEST in Chandigarh on May 30. The fest was inaugurated by Wg. Cdr. V.S.Bejoy (Retd.), Director, (CMS), All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi.

According to ABS, over 600 students from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and J&K participated in this fest.  

Various management experts including Mr. Hirdesh Madan, (Head-North, Bulls Eye); Prof. S.P.Singh,(former chairman,UBS, Chandigarh); Dr. K.K. Mangla,( former chairman, Chandigarh); Mr. Sunil Kumar (Alumnus, IIM, Ahmedabad); Dr. S.V. Malhotra,(Ex-H.P.U, Shimla) and Dr. Parveen Kataria (Gold medalist, UBS) gave an advice to the students for the aspects of management education. 

Addressing the gathering Wg. Cdr. V.S.Bejoy said that as MBA is one of the most popular degrees all over the world as well as in India, and the demand for MBAs is increasing.  

ABS faculty made presentation to the participants about Top 10 Indian B-Schools, Top 10 International B-Schools, types of entrance tests like CAT,MAT,XAT etc, specified websites for MBA, Indian and international Accreditation Agencies, eligibility criteria, fee structure etc.  

Mr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman ABS, said that the days have long gone when a degree from a good university could guarantee a job. MBA has become the world's and most popular business qualification. It is a generalist qualification designed to equip students with an understanding of all the major functions of a business.
