To spread more awareness and provide useful resources, India's leading management portal MBAUniverse.com has launched a new section on Entrepreneurship on its popular portal MBAUniverse.com.

This channel will be targeted at B-school students and young executives who wish to take the road less traveled.

To kick-off this initiative, MBAUniverse.com tied-up with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), a not-for-profit initiative of the Wadhwani Foundation working to inspire, educate and support the younger generation of entrepreneurs. MBAUniverse.com will partner experts and institutions to present tools, guides, faqs and success-stories on Entrepreneurship.

On the MBAUniverse.com Entrepreneurship channel, MBA students can get answers to many dilemmas they face, like:

  •  What is Entrepreneurship?
  •  Can I be an entrepreneur?
  •  How to identify and develop the Idea?
  •  How to develop the Business Plan?
  •  Funding: What are the options?
  •  What about the Execution Strategy?

MBAUniverse.com has launched the channel by considering growing trends of entrepreneurship among B-school students. For instance - at the bell-weather campus of IIM Ahmedabad, during placements 2008, eleven students opted out to turn entrepreneurs. These graduates have plans to get into diverse sectors like logistics, advertising, manufacturing, agro-processing, finance and IT. Similarly, at IIM Lucknow, six graduates opted out placements. An FMS student declined a plum offer from the coveted Tata Administrative Services (TAS) to form own venture called Aisapaisa.com.

The National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), founded in 2002, is a not-for-profit initiative of the Wadhwani Foundation, working to inspire, educate and support the next generation of high-growth entrepreneurs in India. NEN was co-founded by five of India's premier academic institutions: IIT Bombay; IIM Ahmedabad; SP Jain Institute, Bombay; IBAB, Bangalore and BITS Pilani. Over the past three years, NEN's focus on introducing a new paradigm in entrepreneurship education in India.

Set-up in 2006, MBAUniverse.com is India's most comprehensive management portal. As an updated and comprehensive management portal, MBAUniverse.com is an essential platform for Management Aspirants, Students, Faculty and Executives.
