CROMA & SP Jain Institute of Management Research offer programme in Retail Management

Croma, the electronic retailer that is part of the prestigious Tata group, has decided to offer a Post Graduate Professional Program in Retail Management in association with Bhavan's Centre for Inter-Disciplinary Studies (BCIDS).

The programme will be offered under the academic guidance of S.P. Jain Institute of Management Research, the leading premier institute. 

The course is divided between 7 months of class-room training and 4 months of operational on-the-job training at Croma's various stores across the country. This programme aims to give an all-round perspective of the Retail world. Not only does it plan to equip students with key skills required for a successful career in Retail, but also helps in understand Retail firsthand, through practical exposure. 

Commenting on the occasion Mr. Ajit Joshi, CEO & MD, Infiniti Retail Ltd, said, "Today, the Indian retail industry is evolving at a fast pace and offers you great, never before career opportunities. With the spurt of shopping malls and departmental stores, huge employment opportunities are opening up in India and abroad. Infiniti Retail Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. The company has launched 'Croma', a national chain of mega stores of consumer electronics and durables. Currently they are operating a total of 22 Croma stores in India. With 'Croma', Infiniti Retail Ltd. has entered into a technical and sourcing agreement with Australian retail giant, Woolworths Ltd. Infiniti Retail Ltd., will own and run the retail operations in India, while Woolworths will provide technical support and strategic sourcing facilities from its global network.
