French B-School ties up with Rai Business School to offer management programs for Indian students

French higher education establishment Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) and its International Institute of Management (IIM) have announced transnational Executive MBA and Master in Management (MIM) programs with Rai Business School (RBS).

The programs will facilitate Indian MBA students to have a deeper understanding of international business environments and open up for them new job opportunities across Europe.

According to a RBS press release, the Executive-MBA program will offer professionals with three years of work experience an opportunity to pursue a management degree. Students will pursue part of their studies on the RBS campus and part of it on the IIM France campus. For the MIM program, after completing one year of studies at RBS, validated by CNAM-IIM, students would move to France for rest of the program.

Prof. Raymond Leban, director of CNAM-IIM, says, “CNAM is the biggest and one of the oldest universities in France, which provides life long learning opportunities to professional at various levels of their careers. The use of English language for academic delivery is the unique advantage for Indian students.” He emphasized that the programs are of an international standard, and that Indian students will have an opportunity to be clued in French/European language/s and culture as well. As the European Union is the largest trading partner of India, the Continent holds great promise for Indian professionals and students, he added.

Ms Deepika Arora, Dean, RBS, says, “Multinational companies prefer MBAs with international exposure. These transnational programs will give young executives and students that exposure.”

The International Institute of Management – or L’Institut International du Management as it is called in French -- carries out research that addresses issues in the economic world and nourishes the educational process itself. It takes part in more than 20 programs of the European Commission.
