FORE School of Management holds its 15th Convocation

New Delhi based Foundation for Organizational Research and Education School of Management, popularly known as FORE School of Management (FSM), hosted its 15th convocation on September 15, 2008.

Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was the chief guest on the occasion and presided over the ceremony.

At the convocation, 118 students from the two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Future Manager Group) and 37 students from three-year part time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Working Managers Group) received their diplomas.  

Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and awards for good scholastic performance were also given to the FSM students.

Addressing the graduates, Dr Kalam said, "You are going to enter in the challenging world and you have to meet the challenges with integrity and leadership for your success in corporate world."

Mr R C Sharma, President, FSM told students, "I am confident that you will show commitment in achieving excellence in whatever field you pursue. The management skills, the values and the discipline that you have imbibed in FORE should help you in taking the right decisions. Success in your career will make us proud."  

Taling about the academic growth and performance at FSM, Dr Seema Sanghi, Director, FSM said, “We are proud to have yet another very successful placement season with all the students placed on the zero-day itself. The highest package offered by the international recruiter Jumbo Group, Dubai was Rs 26 lacs per annum and highest domestic offer was Rs 11 lacs, a jump of approximately 35% percent higher than last year.” Ms Sanghi added, “We have produced successful managers and entrepreneur who are responsible citizens and good human beings.”

Sharing the new initiatives at FMS, Dr Sanghi added, “Initiatives have been taken to induce deeper sense of social responsibility in each and every student of FORE. They have developed strategies on CSR in the area of Traffic Management, Sanitation, Women Empowerment, Primary Education etc.”
