Admission 2009 Newsflash: FMS Delhi to accept application forms on Nov 30, Sunday too

Owing to state elections in New Delhi on November 29, 2008, Delhi University's Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) has made special arrangements for accepting the application forms for their MBA programmes.

According to information shared by FMS Delhi with MBAUniverse.com, FMS Delhi will be accepting application forms on November 30, Sunday. As announced by FMS earlier, December 1, Monday is the last date for accepting the application forms. Infact, acting in student's interest, FMS Delhi officials also tried to seek special permission from the government to accept forms on Saturday. This was denied by the government.

Speaking with MBAUniverse.com, Dr JK Mitra said, "In order to facilitate students, we will be accepting the application forms on Sunday as well. FMS officials have decided to even forgo their lunch hours on Sunday & Monday!" He added, "As per the original schedule, December 1 will be the last day for accepting the applications." The forms will be accepted from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days, informs FMS.

The FMS entrance exam will be held on January 11, 2009.

FMS Delhi is one of the pioneers in India in conducting Entrance Tests for its highly-rated programmes. Its test, since 1967, is designed to examine the skill and aptitude of an applicant for the management courses taught at FMS, University of Delhi. While there is no prescribed syllabus or format for this multiple choice 2-hour admission test, the previous admission tests usually covered areas like Quantitative ability, Verbal ability, English comprehension, and, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning.
