Over 1.15 lakh MBA aspirants have registered and are expected to take the exam. This marks an increase of 25% in the number of CET takers this year. The figure stood at 92,000 CET takers last year.

According to JBIMS, "The MAH - CET is a multiple-choice objective test evaluating the aptitude in verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logic, visual reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation. This test is then followed by a GD and PI which carry a significant role in the entire selection process. The entire admission process for the MMS course has been taken over by The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra."
