IIM A to offer top management programme on Corporate Strategy & Brand Strategy linkages

Under the flagship of 3-Tier Programmes, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A) is offering a top management programme with a theme on "Corporate Strategy-Brand Strategy Linkages."

The programme will be coordinated by Prof. Abraham Koshy, and will be held during February 9-13, 2009 at IIM A campus.

Talking about the programme, Prof. Koshy says, "Brands are the most vital assets of any organization they are the medium through which customers and clients connect with an organization. Brands, therefore, are the manifestation of corporate strategy, representing the organization's customer-facing icons. Given this reality, top management leadership team of any organization needs to develop an integrated perspective on brand and corporation's strategic decisions. This perspective is especially critical when organizations across the world face difficult times. And it is during downturn that companies should invest and strengthen brands to enhance organization's competitive advantages". 

The programme has been specially designed for the leaders and decision makers of public, private and government organizations who are responsible for holistic management of brands, informs IIM A.
