Indian Banks are ready to support Entrepreneurs: RBI Regional Director

The global meltdown has affected many economies adversely but as India is largely a domestically driven economy, the impact is less on the Indian economic system. Indian banks are adequately capitalized and strong institutions.

They are always ready to support the new generation entrepreneurs. Hence taking advantage, MBAs should become job creators, rather than job seekers.

This was the message from Dr. J. Sadakkadulla, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) at 'Entrepreneurship Sensitization Day' organized by Aryans Business School (ABS) at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Sector 31 Chandigarh. This event was organized to impart entrepreneurial skills to management students. The experts gave tips to become successful entrepreneurs.
 
Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS presided over the function. Many other academicians, economists, management experts, bankers & entrepreneurs including Dr. Gopal Munjal, CEO & MD, Ind- Swift Ltd, Mr. Satish Goel, GM, Bank of India (BoI); Mr. Anil Kohli, President, Chandigarh Management Association (CMA); CA Vivek Arora, Chairman, ICAI, Chandigarh Branch; Mr. Rajansh Thakral, President, Surya Pharma; Mr. Rajiv Arora, Alumnus, IIM- A; Prof. J. S. Saini, Professor & Head, Rural Development, NITTTR, Chandigarh; Prof. B. B. Tandon, Senior Advisor, IBS, Chandigarh; Dr. K. K. Mangla, Director, Aryans Group, Chandigarh addressed the students. MBA & BBA students of ABS, Aryans School of Management (ASM) and Aryans Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT) attended the function.
Addressing the audience Mr. Satish Goel, GM, Bank of India (BOI) informed the students about the various schemes of BOI especially meant to aid young entrepreneurs. Further Mr. Gopal Munjal, CEO & MD, Ind-Swift Ltd., mentioned the need of the young entrepreneurs in the era of meltdown , he stated that need of the hour is investment by young and dynamic leaders in the market.

On this occasion Mr. Rajansh Thakral, President, Surya Pharma, motivating the students said that they should not hesitate from taking risks as life is full of risks. Adding some excitement to the event Prof. J.S.Saini Professor & Head, Rural Development, NITTTR, with the help of various Business/Management games, taught the students the various skills required to be a successful entrepreneur.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Anshu Kataria said that this event was organized by the institute in order to develop and groom the potential first generation entrepreneurs and to provide them with a platform to interact with the seasoned experts from various quarters. Dr. Parveen Kataria, Prof. Paramjeet Sujlana, Ms. Ramndeep Sidhu, Mr. Rajesh Ahuja also addressed the students. Students also made the presentations on different Entrepreneurial ideas.
