The group has now started the G D Goenka World Institute (GDGWI) for higher education in tie-up with the Lancaster University, UK for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
At undergraduate level, the institute is offing courses like BSc in Business Computing and Information Systems; BA in Economic (Hons); BBA in Business Studies and BA in Business Economics. At the post graduate level, it is offering course like 2-yr PGDBM; 1-yr MSc in Management and Law, 1-yr MSc in Management. The institute will also offer a Global MBA programme starting January 2010.
Says GDGWI, "The approach to learning, the new teaching methodologies, the highly qualified faculty, the emphasis on overall development, and the world class infrastructure offered by the Institute defines the planning and the vision of the Chairman of the group Mr. A. K. Goenka. His objective is to establish an institution that will provide an environment that is conducive to developing intelligent and confident citizens for New India. The World Institute will be student centered in its approach and provide a balanced curriculum for the development of the overall personality of the students and to help them in becoming leaders of tomorrow."
The 60 acre campus of the G D Goenka World Institute is located at Aravali Hills and is comprised of nine ergonomically constructed buildings interspersed with playing fields, golf course, gardens, green spaces and plazas for recreation and reflection. The campus consists of the main building, boarding hostels, main refectory & dining hall, medical center, health & fitness center, service & utility center, and faculty residences.

Lancaster University management school is consistently among the UK's top four. GD Goenka Group, established in 1982, has had varied interests in the fields of Real estate, Educational institutions, Travel & Tourism, Polyester buttons, Garments & other exports.
The Group is headed by Chairman Mr. A. K. Goenka along with Vice Chairperson- Mrs. Renu Goenka and MD Mr. Nipun Goenka. In 1994 the group set up its first school - G.D.Goenka Public School Vasant Kunj. In 2003, the group opened its second branch - a boarding school at Sohna in Gurgaon Distt. to cater primarily to the children of NRIs.
