Despite the slowdown in the India economy and global meltdown of global financial sector, Great Lakes, in its fifth year of placements, has managed to place over 80% of the batch has been placed as on 14th April 2009.

Major recruiters include Big Entertainment, Cognizant Technology Solution, CSC, HCL, Knight and Frank, L&T, Marg, Mu-Sigma, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Redpill Solution Pte. Ltd (Singapore), Renoir Consulting, Siestema Shyam Telelink, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata International, and ZS Associates.

Says Great Lakes, “Our placements of over 80% candidates have happend with roles & remuneration matching the individual’s aspirations. The management continues to put its effort to ensure that the entire batch gets placed before the completion of the academic year in April 2009. With over thirty companies in the pipeline coupled with highly qualified students, Great Lakes shall live up to its track record of 100% placement this year as well.”
