The ceremony held last month in the Théâtre des Variétés in Paris saw 265 students representing 45 nationalities. The largest group formed students from Germany, followed by their fellow students from France and Italy.

The academic director of the MDB program, Prof. Dr. Stefan Schmid, ESCP-EAP Berlin, congratulated the graduates on their acquiring the double qualification that is important particularly against the background of the current economic crisis.

The 31 outgoing MDI participants formed the second batch (2007-2009) of PGPIM. In 2006, MDI in partnership with ESCP-EAP had launched an international program conducted partly in India and partly in Europe to provide a comprehensive international experience to budding global managers. The first PGPIM batch (2006-2008) had 25 participants. The current batch (2008-2010) has 35 students.

The structure and Complementary Studies Master in European Business (MEB) takes place in 12 to 15 months in two countries. To study is the campus of the ESCP-EAP in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid and Turin, as well as partner universities, the Tec de Monterrey (Mexico), the Management Development Institute (MDI) in Gurgaon (India) and the Asian Institute of Technology ( AIT), Bangkok (Thailand).
