The annual alumni-fresher meet Sangam 09, on May 23, has been planned in six cities simultaneously

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM K) is organising its annual alumni-fresher meet – Sangam 09 – on the May 23, 2009 in six cities across India.

Sangam is a platform where the IIM K’s alumni, current students and the incoming batch are brought together. The event brings the past, the present and the future of the institute together for an evening where stories are told, memories relived, friendship rekindled, dreams born and experiences are shared. This mega event is organised annually by the Alumni Committee of the IIM K and has been a huge success.

The event provides a great opportunity for the incoming batch to get their multifarious queries answered not only by the current students but also by the alumni. The incoming batch gets a taste of what life is like at the campus before actually visiting it. The event provides an opportunity for the budding managers to get their ideas listened to and receive relevant advice on their prospects and how to put them into practice.

The event will be simultaneously held at six cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad – is no mean one. Exhaustive planning and scheduling has been put in by the students in making the event happen at such a large scale.

Taj West End, Bengaluru; The Palm Court, New Delhi; Citizen Hotel, Mumbai; The Chola Sheraton, Chennai; The Ivory, Kolkata and Celebrations, Hyderabad will be the venues for the event scheduled to start from 7.30 pm on Saturday (May 23).
