IIM K alumni interacted with the present batch of IIM K at the annual alumni event and answered their queries

The annual alumni meet of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM K), Sangam 09, held on May 23, 2009, witnessed the highest attendance in the event history this year.

The event, which was simultaneously hosted at Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad, was attended by the alumni along with the coming in batch – Class 2011. Senior alumni of the institute came down with their families and enjoyed the evening by meeting and catching up with old friends and teachers. They also imparted words of wisdom to those who are going to continue the legacy and spoke al length about their days at the campus.

Delhi had a very vibrant mix of alumni and freshers who had lots to share with each other. Mumbai, being the financial capital, witnessed a effervescent gathering. Chennai and Hyderabad also had their share of fun with music and dance to add to the glitter. Bangalore and Kolkata had many senior alumni coming in. The first couple of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, Nitin Gupta and Supreet Gupta, shared their memories of the campus, which was a first at Sangam this year, making it all the more unique.

The alumni committee had arranged for a nostalgic video of the life at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode campus, to revive the old memories and give a sneak peek to the new batch of what all to expect. The present batch also had a plethora of questions for the alumni on how to progress with their ideas and about the current state of the economy.

At the end of the event, which was partnered by Apollo Hospitals, everyone wished for more such events on a frequent basis.
