Noted academicians and industry evangelists addressed the aspiring students present in the seminar

Delhi based Global School of Management Science organized a seminar on “International Careers and Employment Pathways in Management” on June 25. Noted academicians and industry evangelists including Prof. M.M. Pant, former Pro Vice Chancellor, IGNOU; Ms. Fiona Drew, Head of International Academic Development, Sheffield Hallam University, UK; Mr. Mahendra Swarup, former MD & CEO Times Internet Limited; Mr. Subhash Jagota, CEO Global Business Solutions; Dr. M.P. Gupta, former Head & Dean FMS; and Prof. A. Basu addressed the aspiring students present in the seminar.

Prof. MM Pant said, “We are living in a Web 2.0 age and it’s vital to keep up-to-date with the standard of education. Our faculty is formed by the best academicians with a favorable corporate insight.” He also declared that Global School sustains a holistic approach to development through a series of well designed short duration programmes that will make the students well rounded professionals. He concluded by saying “Global School’s vision and mission is to develop ‘Leaders beyond Borders’.”  

Ms. Fiona Drew addressed the students by saying “It is very important for everyone to be on a global platform. India is at a helm of creating management wonders and it is a revolutionary step to establish a platform that Global School is providing to its students.”  

Mr. Mahendra Swarup said, “The contemporary times are witnessing a striking differential between the industry requirements and curriculum being offered to the students. Global School of Management Science has been conceptualized on a strong foundation with focus on the imperative need to bring international education to the students, in a healthy environment which is essential for growth’”.

Dr. M.P Gupta, listed out some basic parameters that world class business schools must have as Good infrastructure, both physical and virtual, industry interface, vibrant campus culture, interactive campus, rich and diverse faculty base. He is aiming to establish Global School as an excellent business school covering all the aspects of a good business school. He said, “There are 2000 regulated B-schools in India out of which 95 % don’t deliver what the corporate world requires. Global School imparts precisely what is required by the corporate world today”
