IIM-A to increase fees for two programmes

Ahmedabad based Indian Institute of Management (IIM-A) has decided to hike the fees for its flagship post-graduate mangement programme (PGP) from existing Rs 1.77 lakh to Rs 2 lakh per annum.

The fees for the post-graduate programme for executives (PGPX) has also been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 14 lakh.

These decisions were made in today’s Board of Governors’ meeting at IIM-A. Chairman Mr Vijaypat Singhania informed media about these decisions this afternoon. Mr Singhania also said that the actual expense per seat for the PGP programme is about Rs 4 lacs.

As reported by MBAUniverse.com earlier, IIM Indore has already confirmed increase of its fee for flagship PGP programme by Rs 40,000 to Rs 1.9 lacs.

Several other IIMs are also in process of deliberating and raising their fees structures.
