Speaking to MBAUniverse.com Dr Prakash Apte Director IIM Bangalore said, "We are still waiting for ‘official communication’ from government. Hope to release the list in couple of hours."
This year’s admission will follow the HRD Minister Arjun Singh’s formula to allow admissions as per the last year's intake for the moment was endorsed.
Other IIMs are also waiting for the ‘official communication’ from government. Said Prof Sushil Kumar Professor-in-charge corporate communication and media relation IIM Lucknow “We are waiting for official communication from government and all the decision like fee submission, session commencement will depends upon that.”
The HRD Ministry is expected to issue a directive on Friday to all educational institutions to re-start the stalled admission process. The IIMs are likely to start admissions from Monday.
