Various management entrance exams will come up in the next six months. The All India Management Association (AIMA) is going to conduct its next Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for management programs on September 2, 2007.

This time, 167 B-schools are participating in MAT. The participating B-schools include Delhi Business School, New Delhi; Graduate School of Business and Administration, Greater Noida; IILM Institute of Higher Education, Gurgaon; Rai Business School, Hyderabad; IBAT School of Management, Pune; and Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Jaipur.

According to AIMA, MAT is an ISO 9001:2000 certified test and accepted by hundreds of Institutes and University Departments. Every year, lakhs of students avail of this test.

In India, the test centers of MAT are located in Delhi, Chandigarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh etc. Test centers abroad include Australia, Dubai, Japan, Singapore and the US.

According to AIMA, MAT is conducted 4 times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December. The MAT test paper in based on multiple-choice answers and designed to evaluate a student’s general aptitudes like Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and awareness of Indian and Global Environment.

The application form is available at all the AIMA nodal centers and selected Bank of Baroda outlets. The last date for the sale of the MAT bulletin is 11 August and the last date for submitting the form is 17 August. Students have to submit their forms at the AIMA office in New Delhi. Graduates and final-year students from any discipline are eligible for MAT.
