NR Narayana Murthy, Shiv Nadar, Pramod Bhasin to hold Gurukul for budding entrepreneurs at TiE Summit

MBAUniverse.com, in association with HT Horizons, is going to hold the fourth edition of 'Mission MBA'- a series of seminars and mock test sessions for MBA aspirants, on Monday, December 20, 2010 in New Delhi.

On December 21, 2010, the upcoming TiE Summit will kick start the biggest congregation of global Indians such as the Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen, celebrated scientist Dr RA Mashelkar and entrepreneurs NR Narayana Murthy and Shiv Nadar, who have made brand India a global force to reckon with.

Mr. Alok Mittal, Chairman of the TiE Summit organising committee, said, “Upcoming entrepreneurs like S Venkatesh of Goli Vada Pav; Mansukhbhai Prajapati, inventor of earthen refrigerator Mittikool; Sumita Ghose, who founded Rangsutra to provide employment to artisans too will share their journey that touches the bottom of the pyramid.”
Outlining the details of the 3-day Summit to celebrate ‘Enterprising India’, TiE Chairman Emeritus, Saurabh Srivastava said, “The overwhelming response to the TiE Summit to connect and draw out in the form of Gurukul sessions and imbibe lessons from successful and iconic Indians demonstrates huge hunger among the youth to bite the entrepreneurial bug.”

Gurukul Sessions are expected to be a highlight of the TiE event, with Infosys Chief Mentor NR Narayana Murthy, Genpact CEO and President Pramod Bhasin, social entrepreneur and chairman of BASIX (a microfinance company) Vijay Mahajan; and Managing Director of Hero Corporate Services Sunil Munjal holding dedicated 60 minute sessions.

HCL founder Shiv Nadar and policy & strategy analyst Kiran Karnik will discuss on global challenges that will make the world more inclusive in the coming decade. Noted film maker Shekhar Kapur and eminent scientist Dr RA Mashelkar will have an interactive session. Ms. Chanda Kochhar will address a separate session with women entrepreneurs.

Other key sessions include dedicated focus on Social Entrepreneurship, Finance for SMEs, Risks and Rewards, Indian Online Psyche and New wave of marketing.

Other thought leaders who will attend are Israeli entrepreneur Zohar Zisapel, Australian philanthropist Phillip Wollen, Philippines fast food chain founder and CEO Tony Tan Caktiong and Microsoft India Director Floris van Heijst.
