Excerpts from the last Live Expert Chat:
Q: Nidhi: Most Group Discussions do not really have conclusions. How to summarize the GD?
A: It is important to note that a summary during a GD is merely that, a summary. Be careful not to add any argument from your own end, because there are times when participants have an urge to add a point which they feel most about. Remember to be unbiased and reflect the stand of the group and not your own. Be very crisp.

Q: Ajay: Sir I am from engineering background. My CAT 2010 score is 97.23. I have been short listed for IIMs (K, R). What to Expect in an IIM Personal Interview?
A: IIM Interviews are supposed to surprise you. So, anything I say is liable to error. However, as an engineer, do prepare the basics for at least two of the subjects you think you can talk about. Also, if possible, try to brush up on current happenings related to your field of graduation. As a general rule, be very thorough with personal questions like "About me", "Strengths/Weaknesses", "Biggest achievement & Why", "Why MBA" and also, though not necessarily, think of a business domain which you might want to specialize in -- say finance, strategy, HR.
