Career Launcher and Veritas hold GMAT workshop

A seminar on how to get into top global MBA programs was conducted by test-prep company Career Launcher on July 21 in New Delhi.

The event was organized in collaboration with Veritas, one of the fastest emerging GMAT-prep companies in the World. The seminar featured Chad Troutwine and Markus Moberg, Founders of Veritas GMAT and MBAs from Yale School of Management. Career Launcher and Veritas also conducted similar workshop in Mumbai and Bangalore.

At the seminar, Veritas founders took aspirants through strategies for GMAT and other aspects of application to US top schools. In the first topic of the seminar titled ‘Conquering the GMAT’ Veritas’ Chad Troutwine shared the details of GMAT pattern, and offered his advice on how to do well in GMAT. Said Troutwine, “GMAT exam comprises of sections like Analytical Writing Assessment, Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. While attempting the paper students need to focus on their speed and accuracy. For this they should be able to understand key things asked in the question.”

In the second session on ‘Getting Into a Top MBA Program’, Troutwine shared insights from the MBA admission processes at Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and other top programs. “To get into a top international B-schools, three things are very important: overall GMAT scores and other application details like your essay, past academic record and work experience. GMAT score has highest importance. It gives B-schools confidence about your academic capabilities.”

On the occasion, Troutwine also introduced the Veritas GMAT-prep programmes. Introducing their programmes to the aspirants, he said, “We offer Classroom Program, Interface Program and Material Program for the aspirants looking for a global MBA program. The cost of the programmes will be Rs 30,000 for Classroom Programmes, Rs 20,000 for Interface Program and Rs 10,000 for Material Program.” Veritas will offer these programs with Career Launcher in India. 

Commenting on the uniqueness of their programmes, he told, “Veritas GMAT course include instructors who have scored above the 99th percentile on an actual GMAT, 14 lesson booklets covers every topic of the GMAT, 15 CAT (Computer Adaptive Test) format practice tests and online support either by Phone or e-mail.”
