The MBA Admissions 2011 has been a very interesting story so far. The admissions season began with downs and later moved to ups, luckily. The AICTE affiliated B-schools had been served a shocker before the start of the admissions season. Completely caught unawares the notification served by the AICTE hit hard the B-schools.
But later the B-schools unitedly fought the battle and knocked the doors of honorable Supreme Court of India for justice, and happily there was no delay in justice. The SC granted interim stay to the B-schools against the AICTE notification. The B-schools can, for this admission year, can adopt their own admission process.
The B-schools were more than satisfied as the Admissions 2011 started smoothly, and the process is still on at few of the good B-schools.
With the changed scenario with respect to admissions, the MBA aspirants were also happy. Also, with good news coming on Placements 2011 from B-schools across the country the aspirants look optimistic on pursuing an MBA.
To gauge the pulse of the MBA aspirants with respect to MBA admissions 2011 MBAUniverse.com raised the question “With MBA Placements on the upswing & Supreme Court’s approval to B-schools admission process, this is right time to join MBA program” in its Have Your Say section from March 15 to April 12, 2011.
The results of the poll are now out. The Admissions 2011 has been rated as the right opportunity to pursue an MBA programme. A very high 74% of the respondents are very optimistic on admissions 2011. Only 20% respondents say ‘No’. There were 110 respondents in the online poll.
This high percentage is the true indication of a fantastic placements season, which has raised the confidence levels of MBA aspirants.
The year 2011 final placements have gave many reasons to the MBA students of B-schools to cheer. Not only the students have been offered their dream profiles by leading companies of India and abroad, but have also got far better pay packages compared to what the students of year 2010 final placements got.
