For all those to whom IIM is one stop destination for achievement, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get set for a journey which is bound to show you the things from a totally different perspective. It is a matter of a few days for all of you to start your life here at IIM. Much has been spoken about the sleepless nights, never ending assignments, de¬tailed project reports and the importance of working in a team. Take it straight from the Horse’s mouth; do spend the remaining time at home with your family and friends. Because you will see for yourself the much spoken about ‘rigor’ that is almost-always the second word when you talk about an ‘IIM’. But don’t forget that you will be in ‘Scotland of East’. In Shillong, the best stress buster is going for a walk up the hills, sit and let the view dissolve in your eyes.
