The eligibility criterion for XAT 2013 is a bachelor degree from a recognized university or a deemed university.
XAT 2013 will be held across 44 cities in India and three international cities of Dhaka, Dubai and Kathmandu. The examination, based on paper-pencil, will be held from 10.30 am to 1 pm.
XLRI said, "The format of XAT would remain pencil-paper based. This is to ensure that candidates are treated equally and the ones having pre-familiarity with computers, especially those coming from privileged background or having worked in IT sector, do not get any advantage over others who do not have access to computers. The paper-pencil mode also ensures that all candidates are tested on exactly the same set of questions."
