FMS, FORE, IMT, LIBA, CIMP announce admission for 2013-15

The admission process at the top B-schools has already started. Though there is still a week remaining for the CAT 2012 registration and about two more months for XAT 2013 registration, top B-schools have already announced admission.

Top B-schools such as FMS, University of Delhi, FORE School of Management, New Delhi and Institute of Management Technology on September 12 (Wednesday) announced the admission process for the academic session 2013-15. Besides, LIBA Chennai and Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) have also started their admission process recently.

Though there is still a week remaining for the CAT 2012 registration and about two more months for XAT 2013 registration, top B-schools, interestingly, have already initiated the admission process.

FMS, University of Delhi

Since 2011, FMS has been conducting admission through CAT scores instead of the FMS entrance exam, which was scrapped. So, admission for the MBA Full Time program, which has 200 seats, will take place through CAT 2012 scores.

Candidates must score at least 50 per cent in aggregate if he is a graduate in arts, commerce or social science. The score must be 55 per cent for science, 60 per cent for mathematics & statistics, medicine, engineering or technology or a CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00. Candidates appearing for the final year exam are also eligible to apply.

Applicants seeking admission have to fill up the application forms online by visiting the FMS website. The application fee is Rs 1,000 for the general category candidates. The last date of application is December 14.
The final selection will take place on the basis of CAT 2012 score, personal interview and group discussion.

FORE School of Management

FORE School of Management, New Delhi, has announced admission for post graduate diploma in management and post graduate diploma in international business management. The admission will take place through CAT 2012 scores.

In order to apply, candidates must have a recognized bachelor degree in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate. Candidates appearing in the final graduation examination are also eligible to apply provided they get their final year result by October 1, 2013.

The last date to apply is November 12, 2012. The application process can be either online or offline. The application fee for online process is Rs 1,650 and that of the offline process is Rs 2,000.

IMT Group of Institutes

Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Dubai, has announced admission for the PGDM programs with specializations in marketing, HR, finance, IT and international business. The admission process will take place through CAT 2012, XAT 2013 and GMAT (2010 onwards) scores. IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad campuses will accept CMAT 2013 scores as well.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate. Candidates graduating in 2013 may also apply.

The application fee is Rs 1,750. The final selection will take place through the entrance exam scores, written communication and personal interview to be held in Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhopal and Kolkata.

LIBA Chennai

Loyola Institute of Business Administration Chennai has announced admission for its full time MBA program for the 2013-15 session. Admission will take place through CAT 2012 and XAT 2013 scores.

Candidates seeking admission in LIBA Chennai should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a consistent record of first class in class X, class XII and graduation. Final year students, who would obtain their degrees by June 5, 2013, may also apply.

The application fee is Rs 1,250. The last date to submit application is February 2, 2013. The final selection will take place through GD&PI to be held in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

CIMP

Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna on September 10 announced admission for the PGDM program. The admission will take place through CAT 2012 scores. There are 60 seats in the PGDM program.

The eligibility criterion is a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate.

The application fee is Rs 1,000. The last date to apply for CIMP is December 8, 2012. Apart from CAT 2012 scores, past academic records and relevant work experience will also be considered during short listing. The final selection will take place through CAT 2012 scores, essay and GD&PI in March 2013.
