AIIM reports 100% lateral placement for PGPIM batch

Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM) has achieved 100 per cent lateral placement for the third batch of PGPIM (2011-12) despite challenging business environment faced by the infrastructure sector in 2012.

“Despite the most challenging business environment faced by the infrastructure sector in 2012, we have achieved 100 per cent placement for the third batch of AIIM. It was not an easy task, but we worked hard at it. Finally, we placed all students in the month of December 2012.” Dr Bakul Dholakia, director of the institute, told MBAUniverse.com.

Not only has AIIM achieved the feat of placing all its candidates, salaries offered for both domestic and international placements witnessed a sharp rise compared with what they used to get before joining the program, an indication of trust companies repose in the institute.

According to AIIM, 20 companies took part in the recruitment process and all the placements were lateral ones. Five participants were placed overseas with an average salary of Rs 23.92 lakh per annum, representing a 261 per cent increase over their average salary at the time of joining the program.

The average salary of 25 participants, who have been placed in various Indian organizations, is Rs. 8.31 lakh per annum, which represents a 64 per cent increase over their average salary at the time of joining PGPIM.

The positions offered to the PGPIM participants include manager (corporate, M&M handling and M&A), associate manager (learning & organization development, business analyst), deputy manager (marketing, business development, director’s office, projects, consultant, etc).
