New York based Princeton Review, known for its college rankings based on how students rate their schools, recently released its 2008 editions of its annual business school guidebook.

The guidebook has 11 ranking lists of top 10 schools in various categories from "Best Professors" to "Best Career Prospects."

According to the Princeton Review Ranking, Stanford University Business School is the toughest to MBA program to get into. Harvard and Columbia University B-schools come next on this parameter.

Not surprisingly then, graduates passing out of these fabled Universities have best career prospects out of all the 290 business schools ranked. Princeton Review says that Stanford University, University of Chicago and Harvard University business graduates have best career prospects. Columbia University is not ranked as top ten on this parameter.

Interestingly, while academic input is an important criterion for any aspirant, not many professors from the top University Business schools are part of ‘Best Professors’ list. Faculty from University of Virginia is ranked as having top professors. Indiana University-Bloomington is rated next best. This ranking is based on ‘Professors Interesting and Professors Accessible Ratings’ of the survey.

Refer tables below for more listings.

The Princeton Review compiled these lists based on its surveys of 19,000 students attending the 290 business schools.
