Sanjeev Bikchandani, Founder and CEO of InfoEdge (India), better known for its jobsite naukri.com, shared his views about education and career with the aspiring management graduates.

During his keynote address at an event, Mr Bhikchandani emphasized on prior work experience. The event was organized by Chifley Business School, Australia in New Delhi on October 24.

Mr Bhikchandani believes that management course can add value only after prior work experience. He said, "It is better to get into management education after working, instead of getting into it straight after college."

Sharing his learning from his experience he said, "What I learnt through my experience from IIMs, and since then, is that continuous learning and renewal is required. So one needs to invest more on self development."

Understanding the increasing reliability on label of MBA and especially from reputed institutes he said, "The intrinsic value addition is far more important than label. I am not saying label is not important but intrinsic value is more important."

He is of belief that inter-personal interactions are very much important way to learning business and management. He said, "Most of the learning in a good MBA comes from interactions, and not in the classroom." Complimenting Chifley Business School he further added, "Australia based Chiefly is playing this role very efficiently through its e- community inspite of being offering distance learning programme."
