HR thought-leader & Bharti Airtel HR Executive Director Krish Shankar will share his insight on B-schools' role in capability building and talent sustainability at IMC 2013 on Aug 2-3 in New Delhi.
Carrying over 25 years of illustrious professional experience, XLRI alumnus Mr Shankar will speak on the changing industry expectations from young managers and B-schools.

Highly respected HR thought-leader & Bharti Airtel Human Resources Executive Director Krish Shankar will share his insight on B-schools’ role in capability building and talent sustainability at Indian Management Conclave 2013 on August 2-3 in New Delhi.

Carrying over 25 years of illustrious professional experience in enterprise level roles, with a focus on change management, performance management, people alignment and driving the HR transformation agenda to deliver strategic value for the business, the XLRI alumnus will also speak on the changing industry expectations from young managers and B-schools.

Mr Shankar has been leading the HR function in Bharti Airtel since April 2007. He has successfully led various organization development and transformation initiatives, making Airtel among the best companies for leaders.  Prior to joining Airtel, he has worked with Unilever for over 20 years, lastly as Vice President, Human Resources- Asia- Africa Region. He started his career with Eicher Tractors in 1984 and thereafter has held various roles in Hindustan Lever Ltd and Unilever, spanning the diverse areas of HR and business operations.

In his address to MBA Educators including deans and directors from across B-schools in India at IMC 2013, the HR head of one of the world’s biggest Telcos will also share his insight on the factors that leading companies look into while going for talent acquisition from B-schools.

The special HR panel at Indian Management Conclave 2013 will also witness Leadership Guru & Kimberly Clark Lever MD Prakash Iyer sharing his insights on developing leadership qualities among budding mangers.

The keynote speakers at IMC 2013 include Mr Vineet Nayar, Vice Chairman, HCL & Dr SS Mantha, Chairman, AICTE. Based on the theme ‘Enhancing value of MBA’, IMC 2013 will bring forth the possible solutions to the management education crises like miss-match in demand & supply of MBA seats, policy conundrum, lack of employability of MBA graduates, and inadequate focus on core-product that have eroded credibility of the MBA education.

4th Indian Management Conclave:

The 4th Indian Management Conclave to be held on August 2-3 in New Delhi will have two key components IMC Conference & IMC Awards.

IMC Conference 2013:

The 2-day IMC Conference, to be held on August 2 & 3, will consist of Keynotes by Management thought-leaders, Panel discussions, Case-study presentations by IMC Award Winners, and Workshops by partners like AACSB International, EFMD/EQUIS, Harvard Business Publishing amongst others.

The IMC 2013 will have Global thought leaders sharing their management insight with Indian MBA Educators. The distinguished global thought leaders who will address IMC 2013 include Dr Michael Luger, Director, Manchester Business School, UK; Dr Zhou Lin, Dean, ACEM, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai; and Dr Rajendra K Srivastava, Deputy President, Singapore Management University amongst others.

IMC Awards 2013:

Starting this year, IMC Awards will be presented to B-schools & Universities for their cutting edge case-studies/initiatives on IMC themes. The 1st IMC Awards 2013 will highlight ideas that some of the B-schools have adapted by changing landscape, updating their curriculum, placement efforts, and adding a lot more strength to their marketing plans. A selected set of 12 IMC Awards 2013 finalists will showcase their innovative ideas and unique initiatives at Indian Management Conclave (IMC) to be held on August 2-3, 2013 in New Delhi.

The eminent jury members for IMC Awards 2013 include Dr Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode; Dr. Devi Singh, Director, IIM Lucknow; Fr. E. Abraham S.J., Director, XLRI, Jamshedpur; Dr Pritam Singh, DG, IMI & Former Director IIM Lucknow; Dr Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor, NMIMS University, Mumbai; & Dr Sesha Iyer, Director, S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. The Award jury members will chair the sessions on presentations by IMC Awards finalists in different categories.
