IMC 2013 will bring global academic thought leaders, IMC Award finalist B-schools, CXOs and international accreditation agencies together to share their insight on enhancing value of management education in India.
Top CXOs, Global Management Thought Leaders, policy makers to address IMC 2013

The stage is set for Indian Management Conclave (IMC) Conference and Awards 2013 on August 2-3 in New Delhi with the much awaited biggest annual gathering of MBA Educators bringing top CXOs, global & Indian academic thought leaders, Policymakers, IMC Award finalist B-schools, and international accreditation agencies to share their insight on enhancing value to management education in India.

Based on the theme ‘Enhancing value of MBA’, IMC 2013 will bring forth the possible solutions to the management education crises like miss-match in demand & supply of MBA seats, policy conundrum, lack of employability of MBA graduates, and inadequate focus on core-product that have eroded credibility of the MBA education.

Dr S.S Mantha, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education, (AICTE) & Mr Vineet Nayar, Vice Chairman, HCL will deliver keynote address during the first and second day of the IMC conference. 

Industry Insight:

Top CXOs and HR heads will address the IMC Conference 2013 over the two days on August 2-3. 

A special panel of top HR heads, industry Experts and distinguished academic thought leaders will address the IMC 2013 during a special session that will set the agenda of the IMC Conference. The speakers will highlight the challenges & opportunities in Indian MBA Education.

Highly respected HR thought-leader & Bharti Airtel Human Resources Executive Director Krish Shankar will share his insight on B-schools’ role in capability building and talent sustainability.
Leadership Guru & Kimberly Clark Lever MD Prakash Iyer will share his insights on ways of developing leadership qualities among budding mangers.

Dr Bala Balachandran, Founder & Dean, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai & Dr H Chaturvedi, Alt President, EPSI & Director, BIMTECH, Delhi-NCR amongst others will bring insight from B-school perspective at the session.

Global leaders:

The IMC 2013 will have Global thought leaders sharing their management insight with Indian MBA Educators. The distinguished global thought leaders who will address IMC 2013 include Dr Michael Luger, Director, Manchester Business School, UK; Dr Zhou Lin, Dean, ACEM, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai; and Dr Rajendra K Srivastava, Deputy President, Singapore Management University amongst others.

Accreditation agency:

The 2-day IMC Conference will also have workshops by partners like AACSB International, EFMD/EQUIS, and Harvard Business Publishing amongst others.  The speakers during the accreditation workshops include Prof Christian Delporte, Associate Director, Quality Services, European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Brussels & Dr Eileen Peacock, Senior VP & Chief Officer, Asia of AACSB International.

IMC Awards 2013

Apart from facilitating discussion & debate on challenges and opportunities facing Indian MBA education sector among key stakeholders like B-school promoters & their academic leadership i.e. Directors, Deans, Registrars, Admission Heads, Indian Management Conclave (IMC) 2013 will bring fresh ideas that are bringing positive results for B-schools.

The 1st IMC Awards 2013 will highlight ideas that some of the B-schools have adapted by changing landscape, updating their curriculum, placement efforts, and adding a lot more strength to their marketing plans. A selected set of 12 IMC Awards 2013 finalists will showcase their innovative ideas and unique initiatives through case-study presentations at Indian Management Conclave (IMC) to be held on August 2-3, 2013 in New Delhi.

The eminent IMC Awards Jury includes Dr Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode; Dr. Devi Singh, Director, IIM Lucknow; Fr. E. Abraham S.J., Director, XLRI, Jamshedpur; Dr Pritam Singh, DG, IMI & Former Director IIM Lucknow; Dr Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor, NMIMS University, Mumbai; and Dr Sesha Iyer, Director, S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.
