Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida held its 25th convocation ceremony on November 1, 2013. Former Finance Minister Mr. Yashwant Sinha was the chief guest of the occasion.
Speaking the occasion Mr. Yashwant Sinha advised the young graduates to assess the true features of the country’s economy in order to take correct business decisions.
During the convocation Diplomas were awarded to students from all the five programs courses of BIMTECH which are, PGDM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-IBM, PGDM in Retail Management, and PGDM in Sustainable Development Practices.
While presenting the progress report BIMTECH’s director Dr. H. Chaturvedi focused on the stress being accorded to academic excellence and in strengthening the faculty, research scholars and also female entrepreneurs in a dedicated program in association with ISB Hyderabad and Goldman and Sachs.
The function was presided over by Dr. Ajit Ranade, Member of the Board of Governors of BIMTECH and Chief Economist, Aditya Birla Group and Vikash Kandoi, Member of the Board of Governors of BIMTECH.
Around 750 students, academicians, and invited guests participated in the convocation.
