MBAUniverse.com B schools ranking is India’s most comprehensive & ‘toughest’ MBA ranking in which 11 IIMs and virtually every top 100 B-schools from across the country participated. The entry of six new IIMS in the top 30 B Schools in the MBAUniverse.com B school ranking 2013-14 has made a great difference to this year’s rankings as a result many well known B schools have lost their previous ranking positions.

The ranking survey has been conducted under the guidance of a high-power advisory body, headed by Padma Shree Dr Bakul Dholakia, former director of IIM Ahmedabad. Appreciating the Ranking process, Dr Dholakia said, “As the Chairman of the MBAUniverse.com Ranking 2013-14 Advisory Body, I am satisfied with the objectives, processes adopted, and the final outcome of the Rankings. I applaud MBAUniverse.com for getting relevant data from virtually every B-school that matters, even if they had to use provisions of RTI Act in some cases.”
Top B schools and their cut offs in session 2013-15
Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)
Apart from the top three IIMs, the MBAUniverse.com B School ranking 2013-14 ranked other IIMs also including 5 new ones. The 2013-15 cut off for top three IIMs along with IIM Lucknow varied between 90% - 95%, the cutoff of IIM Kozhikode based on CAT was 85% and for IIM Indore it was 90%. Among the new ones IIM Trichy had the highest cut off based on CAT which 97.16% which became one of the main reasons for it being ranked among the top 20 B schools.

The MBAUniverse.com B School Ranking 2013-14 includes many leading PGDM institutes among which there are many institutes having their dates open for the admissions. XLRI, Jamshedpur which ranks 4 in the ranking 2013-14 accepts XAT scores and has its application date open till December 21, 2013. The 2013 -15 cut off for SPJIMR , Mumbai which ranks 6 on the MBAUniverse.com B School ranking 2013-14 were 92 and 93 based on CAT and XAT respectively while MDI Gurgaon, ranking 10 on MBAUniverse.com B School ranking 2013-14 which has already closed its application dates had 92% cut off based on CAT. Most of the B schools offering PGDM courses which have been ranked by the MBAUniverse.com B School ranking 2013-14 accept the exam scores of CAT and XAT.

Among them the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi ranking 7 in the MBAUniverse.com B School ranking 2013-14 has a last date to apply of December 31, 2013. The 2013-15 cut off for FMS Delhi was 98.56 % based on CAT. NMIMS, Mumbai had a cut off of 95 % based on NMAT. IIFT which conducts its own entrance test had a cut off of 50 marks in 2013.
