Balaji Institute of Telecom & Management (BITM) has recently organized the 10th Convocation Ceremony for the batch of 2011-13. Mr. Girish Bhandarkar, Senior Director & CTO, British Telecom Global Services was the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
While addressing the convocation Mr.Bhandarkar shared the status of the telecom industry in the country by focusing on technical advancements like cloud computing, on demand services, mobility, big data analysis, consumerization etc. Sharing some success mantras in view of the current situation of the corporate life with the students he advised them to have positive attitude and approach to work, stay focused; set the highest standards for integrity; never compromise with your values and never stop to learn; don’t go for the brands or don’t look up for easy jobs in first few years of your corporate life, go for the job which gives you ample learning; don’t do everything for the organization, because organization doesn’t do everything for you, have a work life balance and take care of your family; Learn to smile in every situation and take care of your health.

Mr.Bhandarkar presented the medals to the toppers and degrees to the remaining students who completed two years full time PGDM with specializations in Telecom Management, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Systems.
