MAH CET 2014 registrations: Apply online from January 27

Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra (DTE) has issued an Admission notification on how to apply for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014. As per the notification, the online registration for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 will start from January 27, 2014. Candidates can register up to 5:00 PM on February 14, 2014.

The MBA/MMS-CET 2014 NOTIFICATION III issued on January 21, 2014 invites Online Applications for admission to First Year of Two Year Full Time Post Graduate Degree Courses in MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.

Earlier, DTE Maharashtra  announced that, “the Online Common Entrance Test (MAH CET 2014) will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2014 and Sunday, March 16, 2014.”

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. (Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET)

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 Application Fees

Application Fees for Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates and NRI/Foreign Nationals, / PIO/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries Candidates = Rs. 1000

For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only = Rs. 800

Instructions for Registration for MAH MBA/MMS-CET 2014 by candidate:

1. MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 shall be conducted only in the ONLINE mode in multiple sessions. Competent Authority, using standardized equi-percentile method, will be equating scores across sessions.

2. The CET comprises multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical / Abstract Reasoning. In all there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes).

3. It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to register & confirm the Online Application Form for MAH MBA/MMS-CET 2014 at the official site of DTE Maharashtra.

4. The Centralized Admission Process will consist of total four rounds, out of which first three rounds shall be based on computerized allotment and last round by counseling. 

5. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification stage at ARC as per the notified schedule.

6. Applications sent by Post/Courier etc., to ARCs/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be made.

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 General Instructions:

1. The Candidate has to submit and confirm the Online Application Form for CET through candidate login by himself/herself from the place convenient to him/her. It is not required to report to ARC for confirmation.

2. Candidate can avail the facility available at ARC for confirmation of Application form. For availing the facility of ARC candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- in cash as facilitation fee to ARC.

3. All ARC’s shall remain open on all days excluding holidays and sundays for submission & confirmation of application form during the schedule. For ARC List refer annexure IV in the online Information brochure.

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 Results:

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 results will be declared on April 21, 2014. As per the notification of DTE Maharashtra, declaration of MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2014 results will take place on 21/04/2014 at 5.00PM
