MBA Admissions 2014: IMT Ghaziabad to accept 90+ percentilers; last date January 31

Successful CAT and XAT candidates having more than 90 percentiles stand a fair chance to be called for the GD PI WAT round for 2 year PGDM and MBA programmes to be held in the second week of February 2014. However the last date to apply online for taking admission in IMT Ghaziabad is January 31, 2014.

While the CAT 2013 score will be obtained directly by IMT, candidates applying January 21, 2014 onwards need to update their additional test scores of XAT 2014/GMAT or CMAT using IMT Admissions Portal latest by February 1, 2014.

IMT Ghaziabad: Admission 2014 Criteria and Process

Talking about the criteria for Admission 2014 Dr Bibek Banerjee said that, “Diversity in academic background will be crucial, and hence we will consider the type of undergraduate courses, their academic performance and also the quality of school/college attended.’’

The GD and PI sessions will be more rigorous this year and will be under a stricter scrutiny. It will also have a component testing of the candidate’s aptitude in professional written communication. Giving details about Admissions 2014 Dr Banerjee said, “IMT Admissions 2014 is looking for well rounded, mature, analytical, and positive individuals who put a high premium on integrity and hard-work. Hence we will be overweight on the applicant’s comprehensive profile -- academic, extracurricular and work experience.”

There is only one change as far as the application process for Admission 2014 in IMT is concerned and that is in the mode of payment of application fees. In this round of applications IMT will only be accepting online payments via Credit/Debit cards and not demand drafts. 

Established in 1980, IMT Ghaziabad has been a well known B School for more than 30 years. Its flagship campus is located at Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. It also has three other campuses, one in Nagpur and one in Hyderabad, one in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).There are 420 seats in IMT Ghaziabad’s 2 year PGDM course. The total fees for the 2-year Full-Time PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad including food and lodging was Rs 15 lakhs for the academic session 2013-15.
